Support
Play by tapping your iPad’s on-screen keyboard or connecting an external keyboard. Find help with the controls below.
Start a lesson
Clear eight lessons in order to unlock the next ones. There are four time trials: Standard, Advanced, A to Z, and One-Minute.
- Choose a player name and a lesson. Use a nickname that does not include your real name.
- Tap the on-screen key for the next character. The first F and J lesson starts with F.
- Tap Symbols to show symbols and Letters to return. Numbers, Space, Return, and Delete are also available on screen.
Use an external keyboard
Connect a Bluetooth or USB keyboard. Use the arrow keys to choose a lesson, then press Return or Space to start. If keys do not respond, check that you can type in Notes or Safari on your iPad, then reopen the lesson.
You can use touch and an external keyboard together. If the on-screen keyboard is hidden, tap Show on-screen keyboard during practice, or change the option in Settings.
Play against a nearby iPad
Internet matchmaking over long distances is not supported. A lost connection pauses the match and starts a 30-second reconnection window. Bring both apps back to the foreground. If no rooms appear, check the app’s Local Network permission in iPad Settings. Some Wi-Fi networks block communication between devices.
- Install the same version of DaDaDa 2 on both iPads and turn on Wi-Fi. For your first test, connect both to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open Two-Player Match on both iPads. Choose Create Room on one and Find Room on the other. Allow Local Network access when prompted.
- Choose the room and let the host approve the request to join. The host chooses a course; both players tap Ready to start.
- Five correct keys charge one attack. Tap Attack or press Tab to raise your opponent’s board by one row.
- After the result, both players can choose Rematch to start another match.
Leave or retry a lesson
Tap Back during practice to return to the lesson menu. After a lesson, tap Back to Lessons. After a failed attempt, use Try Again to retry. To leave an active match, use its on-screen exit control and confirm.
Advertising and the Remove Ads purchase
The app is free to play. Ads appear on the home lesson-selection screen, never during practice or a match.
A one-time in-app purchase under Remove Ads in Settings hides the ads. There is no monthly fee. The price is shown on the purchase button.
After changing iPads or reinstalling, sign in with the same Apple Account you purchased with and tap Restore Purchases in Settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at Apple’s Report a Problem page (reportaproblem.apple.com). After a refund, ads are shown again.
Your records
Your player name, practice records, and match history are stored on this iPad. Matches do not change your solo lesson progress or personal bests. The app does not provide cross-device record syncing. Deleting the app may remove these records.
When contacting support
Include the app version, iPad model, iPadOS version, whether you use touch or an external keyboard, the keyboard model if applicable, and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords or card numbers.
